Intelligent Beauty

Book

Intelligent Beauty is more than a portfolio book; it’s a lovingly curated exploration of our approach. It blends research, conceptual thinking and print technology innovation with a collection of compelling visual content. Structured in two distinct chapters, the book reflects the dual nature of our proposition, revealing how one is never in play without the other.

Designed to welcome you into our world, the book offers an in-depth look at our work and the thinking that drives it. Diverse perspectives provide insight, context and inspiration, explaining how our role as a creative studio goes beyond being a service provider to becoming an innovative partner.

Design

The book begins with a die-cut cover and variable inner covers, inviting curiosity and discovery. Inside, a design language heavy on bold titling, negative space, and gridded layouts enhances and complements the copy and imagery.

Paper

Material choices were key to expressing the textural side of our work. Five unique papers, covering gloss, uncoated and coated, were chosen to reflect each section’s tone and show off our imagery differently.

Print

We set out to create a book that explored the print process in a similar way to how we approach our work. It combines innovative digital printing techniques with age-old book crafts. Particular favourites are the digital white ink double hit on matte grey that creates a striking 3d effect and the intricate exposed Swiss-binding on the spine.
