Orluna
Carbolite
Visualising low-carbon materiality and endless repairability
Orluna manufactures durable, low-impact lighting. Our latest campaign showcases their commitment to circularity by launching Carbolite, a new low-carbon material. We redesigned the existing ‘infinity’ device into a flowing installation of Midi lights, symbolising their product repair lifecycle manifesto. This striking installation serves as an impactful key visual.
Beginning with raw waste materials, we reveal the formation process of the key Midi components from a macro perspective. Our fast-paced, fluid compositions create organic harmony between product, form and materiality, all bathed in the brand's warm natural light.
We explored circular motifs to symbolise Orluna's commitment to reduced-impact manufacturing. We created a vortex of innovation surrounding the new Midi light, representing the manufacturing materials taken from alternative waste streams.
Our early explorations used dramatic lighting and graphical compositions to focus on the product details and create a standout from Orluna's product look and feel.
We explored the idea of recovering energy and light in the rejection and deconstruction of high-impact materials. Experimenting with long exposures and motion blur, we created imagery with a sense of time and motion.
