Guy Soulsby, a regular collaborator of ours, approached us to create the credit sequence for his new short film Devil Makes Work.
The intention of the credits was to convey and continue the themes, look and style of the film, taking inspiration from films such as Iron Man, Sherlock Holmes, 300 and Smoking Aces. We created 15 slates for some of the key contributors. The slates are a creative way to continue the story and also a good way to keep people in their seats so they read the names of those who made it.
The film is a visually dark and sinister piece that illustrates the devil’s twisted view of humanity – our hopes and dreams, life, love and struggle together with the sacrifices we make for success. The lead role is played by actor Shaun Dooley (Red Riding Trilogy)
